From Spain began 10 years ago out of a love for all things Spanish. Teddi Benjamin, From
Spain's founder, lived in Seville, Spain. Every trip home to Connecticut included suitcases full of Spanish goodies
for friends and family. It became Teddi's mission to seek out the finest Spanish goods, often traveling throughout
Spain to little towns, seeking the best that Spain has to offer. Teddi still travels back and forth to Spain,
constantly in search of new products. From Spain's concept is not to just offer any Spanish item, but only the finest
of products. We strive to offer the most delicious of gourmet delicacies as well as highest quality Spanish ceramics.
Spain has an incredible culture, full of warmth, creativity and vitality, and it is a pleasure to be able to share a
bit of this with you.
Hand-painted Sangria pitchers, olive dishes, paella pans, and traditional Spanish foods are just a
few of the unique items in the From Spain Collection, and they are available for viewing at our Norwalk, Connecticut
warehouse showroom.
Artisans at small family owned factories located throughout Spain carefully handcraft the From
Spain ceramic collection. Often these factories have been in the family for several generations. Everybody in the
family gets involved in the creative process of making ceramic. The elders often spin and mold the clay while the
young design and paint the final product. The majority of our ceramics come from Toledo and Manises, Valencia.
The detailed geometric patterns, and sun-drenched colors in the From Spain Ceramic Collection bring the zest and
ambience of Spain to your home.
The From Spain gourmet food collection has been carefully selected to include the most savory of
items. We offer Spanish delicacies such as turron, chestnuts in syrup, conserved fruit, gourmet olives, olive oil and
paella supplies. All of our foods are 100% natural and made without any preservatives or artificial ingredients.
Most of the foods are actually hand prepared in small family-owned factories.
